My first memory of photography was seeing the spent flash bulbs my father left in an ashtray after parties and watching his flair for composition. Perhaps that was better than learning from my mother, whose photos were know for decapitating subjects.
Though raised in the Midwest, I'm drawn to the coasts. They are incredibly unique from each other, but captivating in their own ways.
"Fermata" is a musical term that tells a musician to pause. The goal of my photography is to encourage you to do the same.
